Michelle Porter is a passionate educator, entrepreneur, and advocate for youth empowerment. As the founder of Taylor’s Word, LLC, she has dedicated her life to teaching financial literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership, and workforce readiness to students ages 8–18, as well as adults seeking to build generational wealth and purpose driven careers.
Guided by her strong Christian faith, Michelle believes in the power of education, gratitude, and giving to transform lives. She equips participants with the tools to grow businesses, invest wisely, build real estate wealth, and lead with confidence,while breaking cycles of poverty, crime, and addiction.
Michelle’s approach combines hands-on learning with mentorship, encouraging youth and adults to embrace self-confidence, leadership, and a positive mindset. She partners with schools, nonprofits, and businesses to create life-changing experiences that empower individuals to thrive financially, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Her ultimate mission is to inspire the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers to walk boldly in their purpose and create lasting legacies.

Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student carries God given potential, and with the right guidance, support, and tools, they can rise to become leaders in their homes, schools, and communities. I believe learning should be engaging, practical, and empowering, equipping students not just with knowledge, but with the confidence and character to apply it.
Through financial literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership, and workforce readiness, I strive to plant seeds that will produce lifelong skills, self-discipline, and resilience. My goal is to create a safe and inspiring space where students feel valued, encouraged, and challenged to think critically, dream boldly, and lead with integrity.
Education is not only about preparing for a career, it’s about preparing for life.
